However, everyone can experience the coziness of such a quaint, Parisian cafe right here in Fairfield thanks to Cafe Lola, located near the community theater on Unquowa Road. This upscale restaurant not only offers coffee, but signature wines and French pastries. Fairfield local, Nicole Sweeney frequently stops into Lola for a cappuccino and crepe. Sweeney, 21, previously lived in Paris and claims that she cannot find a better crepe than the ones served at this cafe. When she feels homesick for France she will often take in the ambiance of the restaurant and for a second, she will be back in the trance of Paris while she sips her coffee. Whether locals are fans of the French style of not, Cafe Lola offers a coziness that makes everyone feel welcome. This cafe not only offers its costumers coffee, but a relaxing experience as well. If you’re not in the mood for a grab-and-go coffee stop, this nook is the perfect spot for you.

Peace out man. This coffee house is designed to bring out the free spirit in even the most uptight business man. Located next to the Fairfield Community Theater, Las Vetas brings a bit of a hippy, laid back atmosphere to the mostly upscale and pricey town of Fairfield. Las Vetas Lounge is adorned with some cool retro artwork, with tables decorated in colorful artistic graffiti. On the wall towards the door sits the infamous love letters box. Any inspired romantic is free to write out their feelings and stick their letter in the box for good measure. When asked whether any of the employees read the letters, one employee, who wishes to remain anonymous, says that sometimes during her breaks she'll crack open the box for a good read. There's a piano situated towards the middle of the shop for anyone brave enough to showcase their musical skills. In fact, Las Vetas plays host to any aspiring musicians who are looking for a venue to perform The community board in the shop lists any upcoming performances.

Along with a selection of coffees, Las Vetas Lounge serves an interesting array of teas, hot apple ciders, and shakes. For food, they have a selection of baked goods including including brownies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and menu exclusively devoted to pies. "I love their chocolate chip cookies," said 22-year-old Veronica Chlebecek. "Las Vetas is such a cool place to just go and relax." For those who wish to have lunch, they do make soups and sandwiches to go along with your hot cup of coffee. Unless you are getting your coffee to go, all of the beverages are served in the shop's funky oversized mugs, which are for sale if you find yourself in the shopping spirit.

With its speedy drive-through and friendly service, every vehicle acquires the signature neon yellow coffee cup in under five minutes. Even better than Doughnut Inn’s speed, is their quality of coffee. Fairfield resident, Valerie Bertolami, is just one of the many locals that has become addicted to this drive-through. Every morning at exactly eight a.m. she waits in line in her black Volvo to get her medium iced Cinefully-Nutty with two packets of Splenda and skim milk.

“I swear they put something else in this coffee,” says Bertolami. “I can’t get enough of it. It’s so easy too, never having to leave the car. How can you not stop?"Indeed, that is the question: How can you not stop for this easy coffee fix?
